Our client is a global supplier of packaging solutions for pharmaceutical companies, with factories in the United States and Europe. In Hamont-Achel, Belgium, they employ around 400 enthusiastic employees. Here, medicines are packaged in blister packs, bags are filled with powders or liquids, and syringes and pens are packaged and labeled. The company has extensive expertise in packaging design and serial numbering, supporting global clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, packaging and labelling of medicines
• Accurate, consistent recording of actions (Everything we do must be documented. Not documented is not done.)

• Consistently follows the GMP* guidelines (Good Manufacturing practice) for this
• Light manual labor
• Quality prevails over pace and/or quantity
• Cleaning of the line

Requirements

•  Precise and focused
• Good English level (you will need to pass an English test before starting working with us)
• Like to do detailed, accurate work (= physically easy work!)

• Patient (waiting times for line adjustments)

To prevent any contamination of the products, you work in a very hygienic environment:

• Clothing: apron, hair/beard net, gloves, face mask, work shoes
• Personal hygiene (e.g. short nails)
• Cosmetics: no perfumed products, no make-up
• Jewellery and other: no jewellery, no piercings, no gel nails, no false eyelashes
• Headscarves must be able to fit completely under hairnet(s)

Base Salary

Offer of a salary 16,27 € bruto/hour rate (Including shift allowance)

Holiday pay is reserved and amounts to + 8.33% of gross income

2h paid ADV + 7.0 MV (lunch vouchers).

Working hours

39 hours guaranteed per week.

You will work in 2 shifts from Monday until Thursday: morning shift (6:00-14:00) and afternoon shift (14:00-22:00). Friday morning shift (6:00-13:00) and afternoon shift (13:00-20:00).

Accommodation

In rooms shared for two people. Kitchen and bathroom shared with the rest of the people living in the house.

You travel to work by bicycle (in the case of living 10 km from the workplace) or by company car (in the case of living more than 10 km from the workplace) (*If you have driving license you might be asked to be the driver. This means the agency will give you a car and you will have to pick up some people from your same accommodation and go to work and come back all together).

Fixed cost

• € 110 per week, accommodation costs
• € 113 per year, health insurance

Each employee receives protective footwear, the use of which is mandatory. When additional work clothes are required, for example, aprons, gloves, etc., are provided by the company
