We are looking for technical workers with experience as steel construction fitter, CO2 welder (ship building) and Ship building electrician (luxury yachts) to work in our clients located in Rotterdam.

Steel construction fitter

Job description

  • Construction of offshore platforms
  • Preparation of beams and steel plating using hand tools and gas torch
  • Aligning the constructions with notice of possible heat influences and Tolerances
  • Fitting constructions according to drawings / specifications

Requirements

  • 2+ years as a steel fitter experienced with similar steel constructions by preference for (marine &) offshore projects
  • Fluent English
  • VCA basic safety course obligated
    • Has or willing to take the course in the first few weeks after start (1 day, is course paid, not the time)

CO2 welder, ship building

Job description

  • Welding CO2, steel plating of ship’s sections, multi-layer

Requirements

  • 2+ years as CO2 welder in ship building or repairs
  • Basic English
  • VCA basic safety course obligated
    • Has or willing to take the course in the first few weeks after start (1 day, is course paid, not the time)
  • Valid welding certificates 136, 138 with stamps every 6 months

Ship building electrician

Job description

  • Cable works, connecting (terminating) cables to junction boxes, cabinets, engines, equipment, lights, accv systems, etc. by reading technical drawings
  • Work in very lux environment, to be careful around expensive materials, woodworks etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as electrician in ship building, preferably recreation vessels
  • Working independently according to drawings or sketches
  • Good communication level of English
  • VCA basic safety course obligated
    • Has or willing to take the course straight before start (1 day, is course paid, not the time)

 

 

What do we offer

  • Minimum of 8 working hours/day. Extra hours as overtime may vary from project to project
  • Accommodation in private bedroom
  • Salary based in previous experience and position
  • You will need to use safety items. They will be all provided by the client

Expenses

Will be deducted directly from payslip

  • Health insurance 33,51 €/week
  • Accommodation 167€/week
