AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Warehouse

  • Monitors and safeguards the quality of the logistics process.
  • Shares order status updates with the Customer Service department.
  • Performs inventory counts.
  • Communicates stock discrepancies to colleagues.
  • Carries out all common warehouse activities, including:
    • Checking incoming goods (temperature, quantity, damages, etc.) in accordance with procedures.
    • Storing incoming goods in the warehouse.
    • Preparing pick-up orders and assisting customers with loading when necessary.
    • Maintaining roll containers, dollies, and forklifts.
    • Preparing orders (freezer, warehouse, vegetables, and dough).
    • Transferring incoming goods to Euro pallets (if delivered on different pallet types).
    • Cleaning and organizing the warehouse, freezer, cold storage, loading dock, and parking areas.

Planning & Productivity

  • Prepares operational workforce planning.
  • Maintains contact with staffing agencies regarding open positions.
  • Monitors and manages the quality of temporary staff.
  • Proposes improvements to optimize logistics processes.

BRC / Compliance

  • Ensures a safe working environment.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, occupational health (Arbo), HACCP, and working/presentation procedures, and leads by example.
  • Completes and archives cleaning checklists accurately.
  • Completes and archives other BRC-related records (e.g., truck inspections).

Leadership

  • Provides direction and guidance to team members.
  • Motivates, coaches, and develops employees to perform effectively.
  • Ensures proper onboarding of new employees.
  • Achieves results through effective deployment of team members.
  • Encourages teamwork to meet objectives.
  • Acts as a role model and communicates professionally at all times.

Job Requirements
 
· Fluent English
· Willing to work in different zones with temperatures of 15–18°C, 2–4°C, and -19°C
· Natural leader
· Hands-on and able to connect with others. Understands the importance of teamwork

Employment Conditions
· Salary indication: Scale F, hourly wage between €17.86 and €23.07 depending on experience and skills. Excluding allowances
· Accommodation and transport will be provided
