Production worker
Our client started in March 2001 as a small family business in the heart of Rotterdam, it has grown into a leading producer of the highest quality, artisanal, fresh (and fresh-frozen) food to go, and creator of ‘Hot & Sexy’ food brands and concepts. Every year, we make millions of ready-to-eat wraps, sandwiches, salads, paninis, sandwiches and more. Ideal for eating on the go, at home or at work.
Available positions:
Requirements:
-Willing to stay for a longer period (more than 6 months).
-Conversational English level.
What we offer:
-40 hours per week.
-Free sandwiches and wraps in the canteen.
-Driving license (not mandatory).
-First contract of 9 weeks as a trial. After that, contracts of 3 months will follow.
– Work in a food production environment. Between 7 and 12 degrees.
Shift assignment:
-Working in 1 shift (7:00-16:00).
-1 hour of break (30 minutes, 15 minutes and 15 minutes).
-Working from Monday until Saturday (5 or 6 days).
-Overtime will be paid 125% (25% extra from your base salary).
Base salary:
Production/orderpicker: 13,68 € bruto/hour with possibility to grow up to 14,59€ bruto/hour if good performing is seen by the company.
Operator: 15,69 € bruto/hour.
Accomodation:
-In residential building with rooms shared for two people. Kitchen and bathroom shared with the rest of the people living in the house.
Transport:
-In case of living maximum 10km far from where you work, you will go to work by bike (offered by the agency).
-In case of living farther than 10km, you will go to work by car (offered for the company).
-People with driving license might be asked to be drivers. They will get a car from the company and a card to pay for the gas. They will get 2,5€ extra per day (with a maximum of 12,50€ per week) for the responsibility of driving.
Fixed costs:
-119,40€/week for the accommodation.
-35,45€/week for the health insurance (mandatory to be able to work in NL).
Every department has goals, which are a measure of the employee’s performance that they must achieve.
Each employee receives protective footwear (mandatory use). When additional work clothes are required, the company will provide them.
Phones will need to stay in the lockers while working.
