Production Worker Amsterdam

  • Production worker: work in sandwich production, packaging and repackaging. You stand on a line and put a product on a Wrap or a Sandwich. Also putting the product in crates or wrapping the Wraps or Sandwiches. Cleaning the area after production.
  • Orderpicking: controlling the product that comes from production, controlling the stickers putting them in the right crates, later on the day the list comes to pick the order for the client. This is not with voicepick but an automatically system above the crates where you can see the numbers and products.
  • Operator/ working frontmen or woman: you are responsible for a whole production line with different bread products. You are the first point of contact for 6 to 12 people on the line. You operate machines and perform first-line maintenance on machines. You keep control over the production process through correct settings of the production machines and correct use of raw materials and consumables. You identify malfunctions, ensure that the products meet quality standards and carry out clean-up and cleaning work.

Shift assigment:

  • Working in 1 shift (7:00-16:00).
  • 1 hour of break (30 minutes, 15 minutes and 15 minutes).
  • Working from Monday until Saturday (5 or 6 days).
  • Overtime will be paid 125% (25% extra from your base salary).
Job Requirements
  • Willing to stay for a longer period (more than 6 months).
  • Conversational English level.
  • Willing to work in a food production environment. Between 7 and 12 degrees.
Employment Conditions

Base salary:

Production/orderpicker: 14,99 € bruto/hour with possibility to grow

Operator: 15,69 € bruto/hour.

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Free sandwiches and wraps in the canteen.
  • Driving license (not mandatory).
  • First contract of 9 weeks as a trial. After that, contracts of 3 months will follow.
Accomodation:
-In residential building with rooms shared for two people. Kitchen and bathroom shared with the rest of the people living in the house.

 

Transport:
-In case of living maximum 10km far from where you work, you will go to work by bike (offered by the agency).

-In case of living farther than 10km, you will go to work by car (offered for the company).

-People with driving license might be asked to be drivers. They will get a car from the company and a card to pay for the gas. They will get 2,5€ extra per day (with a maximum of 12,50€ per week) for the responsibility of driving.

 

Fixed costs:
  • 149,80 €/week for the accommodation.
  • 37,97€/week for the health insurance (mandatory to be able to work in NL).

  • Every department has goals, which are a measure of the employee’s performance that they must achieve.
  • Each employee receives protective footwear (mandatory use). When additional work clothes are required, the company will provide them.
  • Phones will need to stay in the lockers while working.
